Antoine played at The Rise Academy for coach Tyrell Vernon who also happens to be his brother. There he captured the Canadian National High School Championship for the OSBA League. He was also named to the Biosteel All-Canadian team honoring him as one of the top 20 high school basketball players in Canada
“OSU is getting a player who is a relentless worker, both in the classroom and on the court,” Coach Vernon said. “Being from Canada and not having many D1 schools close in distance, Antoine had to work tirelessly and be prepared for every opportunity that could potentially come his way.”
He was also heavily recruited by Northern Arizona University, but chose the Beavers.
