Cleveland State has received a commitment from one of the highly touted Canadian transfers Maurice Calloo, formerly of Oklahoma State. He’ll have an opportunity to come in and play big minutes as soon as he’s eligible.

Calloo, a Windsor, Ontario native, stands at 6’9 at the forward position. He was recruited by a multitude of teams from high major conferences before originally committing to Oklahoma State from from Oak Hill Academy. He was well liked by the OKU staff and community.

Recently, Calloo was in a situation where he got the short end of the stick by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Calloo and the program found it best to part ways as a result.

He will have a fresh slate and more than likely be active on the roster for Cleveland State at the start of second semester in the 2019-2020 season.
