The Pinky Lewis championship was on a crash course with two prep teams meeting in the finals — BTB Prep and Hill Academy.

BTB was coming off a 20-point loss against Hill earlier in the week and were looking for revenge.

After a lead that went back and fourth, UNLV commit Justin Jackson put Hill  on his back in the second half and had a game high 17 points, while 2016 standout PG Godwin Boahen had 16 points and teammate Nicholas Russell scooped up MVP.

Balanced scoring came from both rosters. BTB also had four players in double digits. Liban Mohammed with 17, Dakelle Brooks 16, Ahmed Ali 15 and Michael Asante 12 at the Pinky Lewis.
