Duquesne Picks Up Top 5 Canadian Isiaha Mike

The Duquesne Dukes have received a commitment from 2016 Canadian wing Isiaha Mike, a supremely athletic 6’8 stat filler. Mike is finishing up his final year of high school at Trinity International in Las Vegas, after a strong summer on the circuit.

Isiaha Mike profile

Mike had offers on the board from Grand Canyon, Eastern Kentucky, Idaho, Hawaii and UTPA.

Our first look at Mr. Mike was two years ago during a CYBL tournament while he suited up for up and coming AAU program Hoops Canada. Since then he has grown two inches and expanded upon his perimeter skill set.

As an improved shooter from the three point line, Isiaha Mike has become more of a threat and is expected to join the Dukes and earn minutes immediately.

One NCAA coach mentioned to me over the summer that he could be an All-Conference player in the A-10.

The Dukes scored big time by picking up this Top 5 player from the Canadian 2016 class.
