NPH & the CYBL are proud to announce the first ever Canadian National Invitational tournament (CNIT) set for July 8-12; an NCAA Certified event that will bring TOP Canadian club teams from around the country, to battle for the NATIONAL crown on Canadian soil. The CNIT will take place in Burlington, Ontario at the state of the art Haber Recreation Centre.

CNIT

The game in this country has been blossoming over the past several years, and the future is as bright as its ever been for Canadian basketball.

As the game continues to flourish, so will the culture around the sport; the CNIT will serve to create synergy, providing opportunity for players and teams from across Canada to connect, thanks to one common denominator…the game of basketball.

Participating teams will have the benefits of receiving exposure from college programs on both sides of the border.

The CNIT will cater to a wide variety of age groups, from U12 to U17 (Grade 7-12) as over 100 post-secondary programs (NCAA, CIS, CCAA, JUCO) will be in attendance to evaluate top-tier Canadian basketball talent in tournament format.

The competition will be fierce, and the exposure for Canadian student-athletes will be second to none. Cameras will be rolling all week to capture the most exciting plays of the tournament!

In addition to countless college programs that will be filing in for CNIT, NPH will be providing high definition, live streaming of featured games, with expert analysis and play-by-play commentary.

History will be made in July, as the first ever National Club championship will take place.

Who will be crowned Canada’s NATIONAL Champion?
