#RoadWarriors are back at it.

Our night started and finished in the birthplace of basketball in Springfield, Massachusetts at the Spalding Hoop Hall Classic, where Findlay Prep’s Justin Jackson, O’Shae Brissett and Shakwon Barrett took the floor as the first of a large Canadian contingent at this prestigious event.

With the entire Orangeville Prep team in the mix, there is a total of 23 Canadians at Hoop Hall.

Headliners

Jamal Murray and Thon Maker bring a great deal of potency to the floor for Orangeville. Anywhere Maker goes in the world there is sure to be a wave of fanatics awaiting to see what the NBA prospect looks like in person.

Murray is someone that is steadily building a name in the U. S and becoming more household.

Together these two bring a competitive nature that is tough to outmatch in any other tandem, not to mention there college ready skill level.

Today they go up against Life Center Academy from New Jersey at 12:30pm.

Eddie Ekiyor is at the top of his game, contributing to New Hampton Prep in multiple categories including; points in the paint, free throws taken, rebounds and blocked shots.

Many of the NCAA coaches in attendance yesterday expressed that they are here to get another look at him particularly.

Ekiyor already has offers from Duquesne, Kansas State, UMass, Vanderbilt, among many others.

Eager to See

The first time seeing Lindell Wigginton was when he came to the first NPH East Coast Showcase in Truro, Nova Scotia. He was 13 years old, with arms that dangled down to his knees and had an advanced handle that he used to free himself up against much older competition.

The move out of Nova Scotia was very necessary and landing at a program like Oak Hill exponentially increases his rate of development.

It’s been six months since last seeing him in action and we are most eager to see this prospect among elite level competition.
