Andrew Wiggins entered his NCAA career as the projected #1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, and while some still hold the same position, it seems that others have stepped away from this idea.

The Stats

Wiggins is averaging 15.1 points (leading team), 6 rebounds (3rd on team) and 1.5 assists on 44% from the field. Kansas is currently #15-ranked team in the nation, and #1 in the BIG 12 conference with a 4-0 record.

With 17 games into his college basketball career, and four games into BIG 12 conference play, we’d like to what YOU think.

  1. Time Will Tell says:

Wiggins is falling in the draft and has several apparent weaknesses.  He is still putting up good numbers for a freshman and has significant potential and upside, but it depends on what he is willing to do to become a top player just like Anthony Bennett in the NBAl. We all want them and other Canadians to succeed but are guilty as other for feeding into the hype machine. On a side note Tyler Ennis and Stauskas are climbing the NBA draft charts.

  2. WTF says:

Andrew is putting up excellent numbers at one of the top programs in the country.  He did not create this hype and is setting an excellent example for all young players.  He is team focused, humble and a top 5 prospect in the world, WTF is wrong with that.   He is a team guy and if you have watched him play he shares the ball and the limelight to the best of his abilities.  Enough of the BS, anyone who knows anything about ball knows what this kid brings to the table on and off the court.
