Canada suffered a devastating loss to Argentina 73-67, after being up for three quarters. Luis Scola came alive in the second half, and took matters into his own hands, scoring 14 straight points in one stretch, en route to a game-high 28 points and seven rebounds.

For Canada, Cory Joseph and Andrew Nicholson lead the way, registering 19 and 17 points respectively.

As usual, Tristan Thompson crashed the boards with the best of them, posting a game-high 10 rebounds, to go along with eight points.

With the loss, Canada is eliminated from the FIBA Americas tournament, and hurt their chances of participating in the 2014 FIBA World championships next summer. Canada still has a chance to qualify as a wild card selection, which will be announced in December.
