National Basketball League of Canada Partners with Porter Airlines!

TORONTO, ON–The National Basketball League of Canada is growing to new heights with Porter Airlines as the official airline for the 2011-2012 season. 
 
“We would truly like to extend our gratitude to Porter for believing in our vision,” said NBL Canada President and CEO, Andre Levingston. “This is a first for professional basketball at this level and sets us apart from other leagues in North America.

“Our players, coaches and officials are expected to perform at the highest level and we want to ensure that they are taken care of on the road,” Levingston said.

As the official airline, Porter will provide NBL Canada teams and officials with a dedicated travel advisor and team travel discounts for the league’s inaugural 116-game season.

NBL Canada’s preseason kicks-off on October 14 when the London Lightning travel to Quebec City to take on the Quebec Kebs. The season opener takes place on October 29 in Quebec City with the Kebs taking on the Moncton Miracles.
