National Basketball League of Canada Announces Schedule

TORONTO, ON– The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce its official schedule for the 2011-12 season.

“We are excited to kick off our inaugural season with a 36 game schedule,” said National Basketball League of Canada President & CEO, Andre Levingston.

“The schedule has been designed with our fans top-of-mind, and has been built to ensure an even spread of games between all seven teams.”

In the NBL Canada’s inaugural season, the teams will play under one division and will play each other six times, with three home games and three away.

“We are especially looking forward to the friendly build of rivalries between NBL Canada teams this season,” said Levingston.

“With the close proximity of our markets, fans will have the opportunity to become more engaged with their teams by traveling to rival cities to cheer on their team during road games.”

The NBL Canada’s inaugural regular season will tip-off on October 29 when Moncton visits Quebec City, and will wrap up on March 4 when Halifax visits Saint John and Summerside visits London.
