Boston Celtics’ Kevin Eastman to Spearhead Clinic at Humber College

TORONTO, ON – The Humber College North Campus Athletic Centre in Toronto will be the site for one of the top basketball coaching clinics in the world. The Best of the Best Coaching Clinic will take place on September 11th, 2011, and will welcome Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Kevin Eastman as the guest clinician.

Kevin Eastman speaks on Coaching, Leadership, Career Advancement, and Motivation.  He has spoken to groups in Germany, Belgium, Chile, Canada, and Japan.  Eastman also holds the title of Nike Director of National Basketball Skill Development for the elite NBA, College, and High School players around the United States.

“Humber Athletics has always welcomed the basketball community with open arms, including the Toronto Raptors, visiting NBA teams, and Canada Basketball,” noted Doug Fox, Humber’s Athletic Director. “We at Humber are excited to entertain one of the best basketball minds in the world at the Humber Athletic Centre.”

The Humber North Campus Athletic Centre will feature all of the on court instruction. The OCAA Provincial Champion Humber Hawks Men’s Basketball team will take the court to assist with the drills and on court demonstrations.

 

The pre-registration price for this prestigious event is $85.00 CAN, with a deadline of September 10, 2011. The cost for onsite registration is $100.00 CAN.

7:30am to 8:30am – Registration/Check-In and Complimentary Coffee/Tea

8:30am to 9:45am -How to Put Together a Skill Development Program

9:45am to 11am – Skill Development Program for Bigs

11am to 12pm – Lunch break

12pm~to 1:15pm – Skill Development Program for Smalls

1:15pm to 2:30pm – Developing a Defensive System (including related teaching points)
