OFSAA: Let the Games Begin!

OFSAA DAY 1

LONDON, ON– Welcome to the big show! On day one of the AAAA OFSAA championships, there were no surprises; all the favourites took care of business against their counterparts while engraining memorable experiences that will last a lifetime!

Highlights of the day:

Basketball Environment

The H.B Beal gymnasium hosted a sold out crowd in the home team Raiders debut against Ancaster! It was arguably the loudest gym all season long with the Beal faithful ready to erupt on every made basket.

“It’s great…there is nothing like this. The fan support really means a lot to the players and we are extremely happy to get the win,” said Tony Marcotullio, Head Coach of H.B Beal.

Holy Names Hooligans

Holy Names, the team representing Windsor may have had the most fan support outside of the two home teams from London. The Saints faithful expressed loyalty like no other, cheering on their team all the way through against the Mighty Vaughan Voyageurs
